SMS Terms and Conditions

Sanford Health Plan may contact you using the phone numbers and email addresses that you provide to us. These communications may include using an automated phone dialing system, pre-recorded or synthetic voice messages, texting, or email. When we contact you in this manner, you will be given the opportunity to opt out of receiving similar communications going forward. For example, you may reply “STOP” to texts or select the “Unsubscribe” option included in certain email messages. Replying “STOP” or unsubscribing to an email may not opt you out of all programs or communications from Sanford affiliated entities in which you have been enrolled. You must reply STOP or unsubscribe to each program that you no longer want to be part of. If you have questions, please contact 1-800-752-5863.

Our communications may include but are not limited to programs such as renewal reminders, care-management programs, appointment reminders, billing reminders, prescription reminders, research opportunities, products and services related to your health condition(s), and regulatory notices. Because texts and emails are not encrypted, there is a risk that someone else could read or access these messages. We therefore take steps to limit the amount of protected health information they contain. It is your responsibility to provide a correct mobile number and email address and to update any changes. If you do not provide updated contact information, we are not responsible for any texts or emails sent to the wrong number or email address.
